“Strengthening Families Together” is a 10-session national education program for family members and friends of people with serious and persistent mental illnesses. Contact your local Schizophrenia Society regarding the program. This includes, Schizophrenia: A Journey to Recovery - A Consumer and Family Guide to Assessment and Treatment was produced in partnership with the Canadian Psychiatric Association (CPA). It adapted the CPA’s Clinical Guidelines for the Treatment of Schizophrenia into a user-friendly format to assist consumers and families as they navigate their way to mental health recovery through assessment and schizophrenia treatment.
